It's pumpkin time!

~October 24, 2010~

Pumpkin carving is a big event at our house every year. Usually, everyone gets their own pumpkin, but 5 is ridiculous. We decided to stick with 1 each for the kids, Sawyer included, to save our sanity. It was an absolute blast, as always. And, as always, I was glad when it was over.

The grand finally of any pumpkin carving day in a pregnancy year ends with painting the preggy belly as a jack-o-lantern. Hubby is quite talented at doing this though this year I was particular at him covering my whole, giant belly for the full effect. Thank God that stuff came out of my clothes. I was a little worried.

This was the first time Thomas got to participate in having his belly painted. Tay's done it twice now, and was much more cooperative this time. Of course, it wasn't near midnight when we were trying to wrap it up like it was when we were pregnant with Thomas.

And the fun begins. No captions necessary....

This picture actually deserves a caption. My amazing and talented four-year-old took this picture of her Mommy. Maybe you will be a photographer one day, Tay! Love you!
